Engineering, not magic
agentra builds software that runs businesses. Artificial intelligence goes in where it improves a specific decision, and stays out where it would only serve the brochure.
Where we come from
Our products did not come out of a business idea: they came out of real engagements. A pharmacy owner who needed to know how much to order before the supplier's two-day lead time. A company that needed to invoice the tax authority without compliance becoming a separate manual job. A team paying for artificial intelligence across several people with no idea who was consuming it. Each of those problems turned into a system that is in production today.
What we believe
The stated problem is not always the problem
Much of the useful work happens before any code is written: separating what hurts today from what sounds good in a meeting. Saying so early saves months and money.
We would rather lose the project than mis-sell it
If what you need is a better-organised spreadsheet, we will say so. An artificial intelligence project that should never have existed ends badly for both sides.
If it cannot be explained, it cannot be trusted
A model that is right but will not say why ends up ignored. We design so the person deciding understands the suggestion and can disagree with it on solid ground.
Boring technology wins
We pick mature, proven tools for whatever holds the operation up, and save the novel ones for where they make a real difference.
What we do not do
We do not take on artificial intelligence projects without a specific decision behind them. We do not promise improvement percentages before seeing your data. We do not hand over systems only we know how to operate. And we do not publish a client's name without their permission — which is why you will not find named case studies on this site.
Partnerships
We do not do everything ourselves. We work with NoduxFlow, the platform where workflows, apps and BPMN processes live on a single canvas, and with OverXSec on cybersecurity, data protection and training. When an engagement calls for a piece somebody else does better, we bring them in.
